A huge THANK YOU and well done to Sinead Hickey for not only completing the Dublin Marathon in October but raising an incredible €6500 for Adams McConnell Ward here at Beaumont Hospital.
Exactly five years ago, Sinead had brain surgery at Beaumont Hospital to remove a tumour. Sinead says "The care back then, and follow up care is amazing. I make my annual trip back there to check in for scans, to make sure everything is still ok and I still get emotional about the compassion, dedication and support I received from them, especially my neurosurgeon, his team, and the nursing staff on the Adams McConnell ward".
Sinead collectively raised an amazing total of €13,000 from her marathon challenge, half of which went to Cork University Hospital. We are so grateful for the support and these funds will make a big difference to patients and staffs on the Adams McConnell Ward.
