About Us
Our
Story
Beaumont Hospital Foundation works hard to promote the significant medical contribution which Beaumont Hospital makes to the community and to thousands of patients from all over Ireland who access the hospital's many unique medical specialties.
Our goal is to inspire patients and their families, along with members of the Irish public, to make donations in support of vital equipment and services which improve the treatment and care which our staff provide.
Our supporters can direct the funds they raise to benefit any area of the hospital of their choice. This allows funds to be spread across the hospital and facilitates former patients and families in giving back to the area of the hospital where they, or a loved one, was treated.
Established in 1995, Beaumont Hospital Foundation is a registered charity (CHY No: 11538).
Our Mission
We encourage our donor communities to support us in investing in new health and medical advances which improve the lives of Beaumont Hospital's patients and their families. We seek, invest and manage donor funds responsibly in order to realise our vision.
Our Vision
Beaumont Hospital Foundation is an independent charity which works to generate donations which are used to improve the care which patients and their families receive while attending the hospital. We fully respect our donors wishes as to use of their funds and are careful to ensure they are invested as directed.
Our Team
Fiachra O'Riordan
Head of Foundation
With extensive business experience, Fiachra leads the way on strategic development, governance, fundraising strategy and donor relationships on behalf of the Foundation.
Judy McDonnell
Accounts and Administration Manager
The engine behind all that we do, Judy looks after all issues relating to the finances of the Foundation and still finds time to support our many Beaumont Hospital Foundation ‘Friends’ in their countrywide fundraising efforts.
Aideen Kiernan
Community Fundraising & Events Manager
With extensive fundraising experience, Aideen supports and motivates our wonderful Community fundraisers all over Ireland and beyond, as well as developing and running our fundraising events throughout the year.

Beaumont Hospital Foundation is governed by a board comprised of health and business professionals who provide their time and guidance to the Foundation on a voluntary basis.

Governance
Beaumont Hospital Foundation is a registered charity (CHY No: 11538) which fully subscribes to the Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising (ICTR).
The Foundation's Board first resolved to abide by the Principles at its board meeting (22nd March 2012) and formally renews this commitment during one of their board meetings each year. The Board polices compliance on an ongoing basis under the control of the Governance sub–committee of the Board.
