An incredible €30,500 has been raised for Richmond ICU and Beaumont Hospital Family House following a fantastic community fundraising weekend organised at The Hilltop Bar in Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford.

The event, which included a tractor run and a number of other activities, was inspired by the care received by two local young men, Sean Gormley and Rory Bradley, while they were patients in Richmond ICU.

At a special presentation evening, the fundraising committee presented the cheque to Tracy O'Sullivan, CNM2 in Richmond ICU, on behalf of the unit.

This phenomenal achievement is a true reflection of the generosity, kindness and community spirit shown by everyone who organised, supported and took part in the weekend.

On behalf of everyone at Beaumont Hospital Foundation and Richmond ICU, thank you to Kevin Reilly, Norman Hall, the organising committee, volunteers, sponsors and every single person who donated or supported the event.

Your generosity will help enhance patient care and support families when they need it most.

Thank you for making such a meaningful difference.
