David Hegarty from Co Meath undertook the trip of a lifetime in July of this year when he climbed Kilimanjaro to raise funds for oncology at Beaumont Hospital. He took some wonderful photos of himself on the roof of the world at the top of Kilimanjaro which he has shared with us. David was supported in his fundraising efforts by his work colleagues and his company matched some of his funds to bring him to the wonderful total of €2,320.He handed over his funds by special request to nurse Nikki Mahon. Very well done to David and all those who supported his fundraising. Thank you for helping us to make Beaumont Hospital better for patients and their families.
