Almost a year ago, Paul Compton was a patient on St Clare's Ward in Beaumont Hospital before he sadly passed away from stomach cancer. His wife, Jacinta, and their sons Stephen, Gary and Jason wanted to raise funds for the ward where Paul was treated in his final days and between money raised through the Mini marathon in June and a Karaoke/Bingo night held in the Ardlea Inn in late July, the family have raised an amazing €6,855 for St Clare's Ward.

A huge thanks to the Compton family and their relatives and friends for helping to support Beaumont Hospital and creating a wonderful tribute to Paul's memory as his one year anniversary approaches.
