“We would like to nominate the entire team of St Raphaels Children’s Ward at Beaumont Hospital for looking after our son, Conor, last October.
Conor had a bleed on his brain and was rushed from Sligo to Beaumont Hospital on the night of 29th October 2019. After a very scary journey and with us in terrible shock & very scared, Nurse Anita welcomed us with open arms and assured us all would be ok. She looked after Conor so, so well along with all the other nurses and staff, Denise, Fiona, Lorraine and the student nurses; all the Doctors including Dr Crimmons, Dr Ming & colleauges & the catering staff.
The entire staff took us under their wing and not only dealt with the medical emergency but looked after all our needs as a family with food, etc. They could not do enough for us and Conor. We will never forget their kindness & professionalism. Conor had surgery on 30th Oct and thank god has made a full recovery and is in great form and has returned to school and sport. We are so so grateful to everybody on St Raphaels Ward and we will never forget their kindness. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts”.
If you can, you might like to make a donation towards helping us to improve the care we provide to our patients at Beaumont Hospital.
