Funeral and Memorial Collections
At a funeral or memorial service, donations in lieu of flowers can be an incredibly meaningful way to celebrate the life of a loved one. You may like to include this in the death notices for the deceased with a sentence that says: “We kindly request donations in lieu of flowers to Beaumont Hospice Foundation" along with our website details www.beaumontfundraising.ie.
We can also provide you with donation envelopes which you can have at the funeral/memorial service. This allows family, friends, and community to come together and honour your loved one.
You or the funeral directors can return the envelopes directly to us and we will acknowledge the donations of those who care to provide their contact details.
We will always write to the family of the deceased to acknowledge the names (where provided) of donors and to advise of the total amount donated by sympathisers from across all of our donation channels.
Regular In Memory Gift
Why not mark an anniversary, birthday, or special date that will always remind you of the person you have lost by setting up an annual in-memory gift? You can donate to us on the date of your loved ones passing by setting up a standard order from your bank account. This can be done conveniently through online banking or call us on 01 -809 2161 to donate by card over the phone.
Fundraise In Memory
If you would like to organise a fundraiser in honour of your loved one, you can take part in an event or challenge. There are so many ways to fundraise, from a simple bake sale to taking on a challenge in their memory. You can take part in one of BHF's pre-arranged events or set up your own by creating an in-memory Tribute Page.
Your friends, family, and co-workers can safely and easily contribute online to this fund using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
