€10,760 for the Callum Grimes Fund for Adams McConnell Ward
BACK »In the early hours of the morning, following St Stephen's Day 2016, 27 year old, Callum Grimes was the victim of a hit and run car accident as he walked home from a night out. He was brought to Beaumont Hospital and spent several months on Adams McConnell Ward before he passed away in June 2017.
He was a larger then life character, much loved by his parents, Catherine and Mark, his sisters, extended family, friends and colleagues in TKMaxx Swords. His family and friends organised a fundraiser last February on the date of Callum's birthday in the Strand Bar in Rush and dropped in today to donate a cheque for €10,760 for Adams McConnell Ward. Everyone was delighted to meet Catherine and Mark again and to remember Callum on this beautiful summer's day. Huge thanks to all involved for this wonderful contribution.
