The townland of Ballinouskill in County Kilkenny has much to boast of. Along with a rich community spirit is also has a wealth of vintage and classic tractors that formed the premise of the recent Vintage Day which raised €6,000 for local and national causes!

The committee responsible for organising the day wanted to pass on thanks to Adams McConnell Ward in Beaumont Hospital for the treatment given to one local lady who has been treated here for two brain anuerysms.  She is fortunate to have come through both operations with no side effects and is enjoying a return to full health.

We were delighted to receive a cheque for €1,200 from Frank Brenann of the Wheel Inn in Ballyouskill and the Vintage Day committee and want to thank everyone for their support and generosity to Beaumont Hospital
