Our second annual Glide cycle in aid of men's cancer services takes place on Saturday 25th August. This year's looped route starts and finishes at Greystones RFC and follows quiet country roads as is wends its way to Brittas Bay and on to Redcross where the pack will split into two different homeward legs over 80km and 125km respectively.
The cycle is inspired and led by former patient, Fran McDermott, who was treated in Beaumont Hospital for testicular cancer when he was in his early twenties and again for thyroid cancer in his thirties. Fran focused his recovery from both cancers on getting fit and staying active and is a keen cyclist.Group 1 - 80km
